The Thursday Club was formed in 1984. The Club is an exclusive club for Members involved in business or the professions and is limited to 50 Members. The Club provides an opportunity for Members to have a meeting point and a forum for discussions with guest speakers invited to contribute on general topics of interest. Members are encouraged to view the Club as a forum for the input of fresh ideas and a medium through which they could benefit each other and the Club as a whole. The Club has ten meetings in every year from July to June. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month and are subject to variation. A social event such as a Ladies’ Night is also planned once a year.
